DRAWBACKS OF DIETING



What is Dieting?Dieting is about restricting what we eat or how much we eat in order to lose weight. We usually diet because we believe that being thinner will make us .....
Dieting is usually done as a way to lose weight,& in the process,severe restriction can take place.There are a no of negative sides of diets that you need to be aware about because if you aren't you could be putting your healthy in jeopardy.  



Some drawbacks that can occur from dieting are:

SLOWED METABOLIC RATE:The very first negative side of diets to be aware of is the fact that a diet by nature will cause a reduction in your metabolic rate.Any time you feed the body fewer calories than it would ideally like, it's going to fight back against you by slowing down its metabolism.
NUTRIENT DEFICIENCIES:The second negative side to some extreme diets arenutrient deficiencies. If you're consuming a very low calorie intake diet, there is a good chance that you aren't getting a wide variety of foods and may be falling short on some key vitamins and minerals that you need for proper functioning.
LOW ENERGY LEVELS: Another drawback to diets to be aware of is low energylevels. If you're not consuming enough calories on a regular basis eventually this is going to take its toll on your energy level.
DRASTIC BODY WEIGHT FLUCTUATIONS:The other negative side effect of diets is that they can cause dramatic body weight fluctuations. If you are gaining and losing ten to twenty pounds over a relatively short time period, this will not be ideal for maintaining healthy body.This will place a great deal of stress on your bones and organs and you could find that over time your body composition begins to change. Rather than losing fat and gaining muscle, you begin losing muscle and gaining fat, so you may in fact become an even fatter version of your current self.
DEPRESSION:Many people actually become very depressed while dieting.This can happen for a few reasons & not all are necessarily permanent or bad.
HEADACHES:Another common drawback of dieting is headaches.This might occur if you have removed caffeine,sugar or other addictive foods from your life,& this is usually just a common sign of detox. However,it can also come from not eating enough too.
DIGESTION CHANGES:Most people always notice a huge change in their digestion when they start dieting.Some people's digestion can improve,but others... not so much.Digestion can slow down,or things like bloating & gas might occur.If you're not eating enough,constipation might occur.
STRETCH MARKS:Many people get stretch marks from dieting, because they lose weight fast and then they also gain the weight fast after they get off the diet. Stretch marks easily occur in diets that restrict certain foods that actually has nutrients that help your skin. Stretch marks can be embarrassing and ugly. 

Eating a balanced meal and having a workout program is the best & safest way to lose weight.
